As the UN SDG Ambassador for Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy – I am proud to represent the youth of Turkmenistan in advancing the global conversation on sustainable energy. Access to clean and reliable energy is not just a technological necessity, but a fundamental step toward dignity, equality, and sustainable development for all.

In Turkmenistan, we regularly organize seminars and educational sessions in universities to raise awareness about energy security, renewable energy, and the importance of long-term sustainability. One such upcoming event will take place at the Turkmen State Institute of Energy in Mary, bringing together students, experts, and stakeholders to explore the future of energy and the vital role of youth in shaping it.

These forums serve as powerful platforms for young people to become active contributors to global solutions. By engaging in dialogue, research, and community-based action, we are laying the groundwork for a more sustainable future.

On the international level, we are implementing the Diplomatic Dialogue project in collaboration with the United Nations and Turkmenportal. This monthly initiative features high-level interviews with ambassadors and UN agency representatives, offering a platform to discuss diplomacy, youth leadership, and shared global goals. It is a meaningful effort to build bridges between nations and generations through mutual understanding and partnership.

We, the youth of Central Asia, are committed to driving impactful change. Through our ideas, energy, and dedication, we are ensuring that access to clean energy and peaceful cooperation become cornerstones of a better tomorrow.
