As a young representative of Turkmenistan, I am honored to be part of this transformative initiative, the Second Central Asian Youth Forum “Dialogue – Guarantee of Peace,” which brings together the voices of youth and leaders from across the region. The theme of the forum, “Dialogue of Generations in New York,” symbolizes not only the importance of dialogue between generations but also the significance of collaboration in shaping the future of Central Asia and beyond.

This event presents an invaluable opportunity for us, as youth, to engage with decision-makers and share our vision for the future of our region. Our perspectives, shaped by a world rapidly evolving through technology, environmental challenges, and globalization, are vital in creating a sustainable, inclusive, and peaceful future for all. The Forum enables us to advocate for the integration of our ideas and hopes into the regional and global policy discussions, reinforcing our role as change-makers in the coming decades.

As we discuss Central Asia's future, I am particularly excited to witness the collaboration on addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8) — Decent Work and Economic Growth. For Turkmenistan's youth, this goal represents an opportunity to create a robust and inclusive economic environment that supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for all young people in the region. I strongly believe that youth empowerment and the creation of jobs, especially in the fields of technology, green energy, and digital transformation, are essential to shaping the region’s economic future.

I look forward to the exchange of ideas and experiences that will take place during the forum. This event will not only bring forward practical solutions to regional challenges but also inspire us to work together as one generation committed to ensuring peace, prosperity, and a sustainable future for Central Asia. It is our collective responsibility to actively contribute to the development of policies that promote sustainable economic growth, reduce inequality, and create an environment where every individual can thrive.

The upcoming Forum is an exciting platform that strengthens the bonds between the youth of Turkmenistan and the entire Central Asian region, uniting us in our shared responsibility to build a better future for all. We are the leaders of tomorrow, and our voices today will guide the path to peace, progress, and prosperity for our region.
